Surprisingly, no. Recruiting skilled and competent talent requires a rigorous process that demands both time and, often, money if you’re using headhunters. Even after finding the right candidates, you’ll need to provide office space, which adds another expense, and sometimes additional training is necessary. Many of our clients have found that hiring Avalon Dispatch is more cost-effective than maintaining a full-time dispatcher. Our industry expertise, extensive network, and experience make us exceptionally effective at what we do.

No, you don’t have to commit long-term. At Avalon Dispatch, we operate on a month-to-month basis because we believe in earning your business with our performance. If you’re not satisfied, neither are we, so we’ll work diligently to meet your needs. We also value your freedom to choose your service provider, which is why we ensure you have the flexibility to work with us on your terms.

Getting started with Avalon Dispatch is simple and streamlined, thanks to our online document submission process.

  1. Sign the Dispatch Carrier Agreement: Start by signing our Dispatch Carrier Agreement, which outlines our mutual responsibilities and ensures protection for both parties. This is not a long-term commitment—our services are month-to-month, and there are no penalties for discontinuing our service.

  2. Provide Insurance Information: You’ll need to provide insurance that lists Avalon Dispatch as the certificate holder. This is standard practice in the industry for shippers, dispatchers, and brokers, allowing us to act on your behalf. Ensure your insurance includes both liability and cargo coverage.

  3. Submit the Carrier Set-Up Package: We require a completed Carrier Set-Up Package, including references for the shippers and brokers we work with, as well as your MC Permit and signed W9 form.

  4. Provide Driver CDL Copies: For our records and to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, please provide a copy of the CDL for each driver we will be dispatching.

We work with owners/operators working under their own MC authorities — but also with carriers with company drivers.

Absolutely. We love helping truck drivers and carriers in all stages of their careers. What we look for are keen, hardworking drivers, period. Realistically, if you are a new carrier, it may initially be harder for us to find you the best loads because most shippers and brokers prefer carriers with MC authorities more than six months to a year old. However, you can rest assured that Logity Dispatch will give it our all so you can make better money in your first year.
